Milo had major ear surgery in November. He had a benign tumor growing in there and we anticipated that he would have to have the ear drum and hearing bones removed during the surgery. After the surgery, though, we were thrilled to learn that the tumor was easily removed and that the hearing bones were intact. Almost immediately we noticed that his speech patterns became more sophisticated. He’s still not quite age-appropriate with his speech, but as he gets older, I’m becoming more certain that he’ll catch up in time for Kindergarten.
Obviously, he was feeling fine after only a few days!
