Milo turned four on the 18th!!
This was our Valentine's day present!
All cake tastes better when you lick it off the candle!
You may wonder why Milo is naked eating his cake. Well, we've had major issues trying to get Milo to poop in the potty. And we've told him that now that he's 4 years old, he has to poop in the potty like a big boy. So tonight at dinner, he starts making the faces, etc, and Curtis was able to convince him to try to go in the bathroom. So Milo went and sat in there....and sat in there....and sat in there...and sat in there...and sang some songs...and sat some more, and finally we heard our exultant child proclaim that he'd done it. So we went to see, and in the toilet was the tiniest little rabbit pellet. So that's a start anyway! And while in there, our child had stripped naked, George Kostanza style.
Milo's present from us was new sheets/comforter/lamp, etc. We're also in the middle of painting his dresser in more boyish colors, but we've sort of been 'in the middle' of that project for about 10 days now, so we'll see if that gets completed! There's also a matching border, and, we really do intend to hang it at some point!
We finally stopped having to read the hospital books every night and have now replaced them with The Cat in the Hat. "It is good I have someone here with me today, here under my hat is Little Cat A!" This is possibly the longest book in existence.
