"Hey Kiddo! What does the elephant say?" (Milo's school went to the NC Zoo on April 18. Milo's favorite was the elephant)
I know this is off center, but the picture just captures his mood so well - goofy and easy. He was dipping a french fry in honey mustard, but he liked the mustard so much that he never took any bites of the french fry! Here, he's dabbing his chin with the fry to catch the stray mustard. He was feeling pretty impressed with his industriousness!
Milo discovers that he can make beautiful music by banging on the various items of junk that are collected on the kitchen table.
I'm not sure exactly which month the Duhns came to visit, but when they were here, we all went to a lovely farm, called Fearrington, that has a very swank restaurant, book store, hotel, cafe, etc. It's really awesome there, and, of course, Milo loves the cows! They are called Belted Galloways, which means they're all black, with a big, white stripe around their bellies. Here, Curtis, Milo and Sonie are feeding a cow some clover.
